Enclosed and covered slabs in Northeast Florida face a challenge most flatwork does not: constant ground moisture and soil that shifts with the water table. We have poured in this ground for years, so we set a proper vapor barrier, compact the sub base to stop settling, and pour to the thickness the load calls for, whether it is a car, a lift, or loaded shelving.

Carries Vehicles and Equipment
A floor slab spreads concentrated loads, a parked truck on four tire patches or a loaded shelving unit on four feet, into the ground without flexing. Thickness and reinforcement are sized to what the space will actually hold.
Sealed Against Ground Moisture
Florida ground stays damp year round. A vapor barrier beneath an enclosed slab stops that moisture from rising through the concrete, sweating the surface, lifting coatings, and rusting whatever is stored on it.
A Floor That Cleans Up
A hard troweled surface is dense and smooth, so it sweeps clean, resists oil and solvent staining, and takes an epoxy or sealer later if you want one. Covered outdoor slabs get a light pitch so water runs off instead of standing.
